After finalising his divorce from Gwyneth Paltrow in April 2015, Chris Martin became one of the most eligible bachelors on the market.

As well as an army of Coldplay fans falling at his feet, the band’s frontman was fighting off a horde of A-list potential lovers too.

Before he found love with Dakota Johnson, he was linked to a number of other stunning actresses – including Jennifer Lawrence.

The Hunger Games star, 33, and Martin sparked dating rumours eight years ago after they were said to have been embroiled in a four-month whirlwind romance.

Neither of them ever publicly confirmed their relationship, but pictures of the pair looking cosy while dining at exclusive restaurants did the rounds.

It was then reported that the pair had called it quits, as Martin was juggling a hectic work schedule and post-divorce life.

Sources claimed Lawrence grew tired of him being ‘noncommittal’, but they supposedly still cared about each other a lot.

Although her alleged romance with the Fix You crooner managed to largely stay under the radar, Andy Cohen obviously was clued up on it.

The Bravo frontman took the opportunity to grill Lawrence on her love life when she appeared on What What Happens Live! in December 2015, a few months after the supposed break up.

A caller first rang in to dig into the details of the actress’ celebrity crushes, explaining that Justin Bieber had recently revealed he had a crush on her.

Reminder – this was 2015, long before Hailey Bieber came along.

Although the prospect of dating the teenybopper was a ‘hard no’ for Lawrence, it gave Cohen the perfect opener to quiz her on her alleged fling with Martin.

He asked: “You and Chris Martin never really confirmed whether you were together or not…”

But the Silver Linings Playbook star still kept her cards close to her chest and simply responded: “We never did.”

When the Real Housewives producer pressed her for a definitive answer, Lawrence again decided to play coy.

She simply said while giggling nervously: “Huh, come on!”

Lawrence went on to begin dating art gallery director Cooke Maroney in 2018 and got hitched the following year in Rhode Island.

She gave birth to their son, Cy, in February 2022 and has kept a low profile since becoming a family-of-three.

Martin on the other hand is still going strong with Fifty Shades actress Johnson.

She has even managed to win over his ex-wife Paltrow and they all recently celebrated Thanksgiving together in The Hamptons.

Meghan Markle was clearly not up for getting another piece of pie with the lads.

Suits has been off the air since 2019, but remained as the most-watched series on Netflix last year.

The legal drama was watched for a total of 57.7 billion minutes, beating The Office‘s previous record of 57.1 billion, set in 2020.

And the show was originally shown on the USA Network and became available on Netflix shortly after, airing from 2011 to 2019.

For those unaware, the programme centres around college dropout Mike Ross (Patrick J. Adams), who begins working as a law associate for Harvey Specter (Gabriel Macht), despite never attending law school.

The all-star cast also includes Meghan Markle as Rachel Zane, Gina Torres as Jessica Pearson, Sarah Rafferty as Donna Paulsen and Rick Hoffman as Louis Litt.

Fans were delighted when the group reunited during the Golden Globes in January of this year, however, many noticed how the Duchess of Sussex wasn’t there.

During a chat with reporter Marc Malkin on the red carpet, Gina Torres said: “Well, when it all came through we were texting each other. Our text thread is insane right now, it’s exciting.”

The interviewer then pressed the actor about her former co-star Markle, who announced she would not be reprising her role of Rachel Zane shortly before revealing her engagement to Prince Harry in 2017.

Malkin asked: “Who texted Meghan and said ‘you’ve got to come to the Golden Globes!'”

Instead of fluffing up an answer, Torres was brutally honest about the reason behind the cast’s lack of communication with the Duchess of Sussex.

Just like her character Jessica Pearson, Torres didn’t mince her words.

She responded: “We don’t have her number. We just don’t.”

Adams and Macht were both presenting at the star-studded ceremony and were later joined on stage by Torres and Rafferty to deliver the award for Outstanding Drama Series, which HBO hit show Succession took home.

Despite Markle supposedly leaving the chat, Torres reassured Suits fans there was no animosity between them.

The Hannibal star, 55, added: “She’ll see, she’ll watch. She’ll be happy that we’re here.”

Adams, who played the smooth talking protagonist Mike Ross in Suits, also gave some insight into the cast’s texting habits while at the Golden Globes.

He said: “Mostly, I’m just trying to get Gabriel to respond. Honestly, he’s slow on the text and he has like six different numbers now because he lives in England.

“So, we’re just trying to find out which number works.”

Markle and husband Prince Harry also came up in conversation during Jo Koy’s controversial opening monologue, which has received mixed reviews.

He made a veiled jab at the ‘rich, white and dysfunctional’ Royal Family, before zoning in on the couple.

Koy told the crowd: “Succession has nine nominations. Just a great series about a rich, white, dysfunctional family, all scheming… oh, wait, that’s The Crown. I’m sorry.”

The comedian then took a swipe at the Sussexes about their pricey Netflix deal, saying: “Harry and Meghan Markle got paid millions for doing absolutely nothing. And that’s just by Netflix.”

Barry Keoghan has hinted that he could be reprising his role as the Joker in the new Batman movie.

Those of you who’ve seen The Batman will know very well that the Irishman is not actually in it.

The 2022 superhero flick saw Robert Pattinson don the black cap and horns as took on the iconic role, with Paul Dano also starring as the Riddler.

With a line-up like that, Keoghan desperately wanted a part in Matt Reeves’ film.

So desperate was he in fact to be in it that he even shot his own audition tape of him as the Joker, with the director impressed enough to cast him.

Sadly, however, his one scene from the film was cut, with it being released after the movie landed in cinemas.

And said scene saw Keoghan go head to head with Pattinson in a tense prison meeting.

Fans were hugely impressed by the actor’s interpretation of the character, and have been vocal in their desire to see Keoghan in the sequel.

So when he was interviewed recently about his new movie, Saltburn, it was the perfect opportunity to ask if he had any news.

And he gave fans a little signal that he could very well be in the next instalment.

Speaking to ETalkTV, the 31-year-old said: “I can’t really say anything about it, but it would be exciting, wouldn’t it? Seeing the Joker come to life again.

“My smile says it all, you know what that means.”

When his deleted scene was released by the studio last year, fans were blown away, which is no mean feat, considering how the late Heath Ledger made the part his own in 2008’s The Dark Knight.

One user commented: “The way he slowly revealed his grotesquely damaged mouth as he got more and more menacing and showed the depth of his insanity.

“My goodness. Brilliant cinematography and acting. Answering riddles correctly has never been so worth it.”

Another wrote: “Just as sinister as I expected him to be.

“The perfect characterisation for the Joker of this universe.”

A third, very excited, fan added: “This is a masterpiece. We need an extended movie of this masterpiece called The Batman. Love this scene. I watched this movie like five times.

“Still a 10/10 movie. Please release the director’s cut. This is truly a masterpiece. The riddles, the dynamic between Joker and Batman is freaking amazing.”

I guess we’ll just have to wait and see what, if any, part Keoghan has in The Batman 2.

The James Bond hype train appears to be chugging towards the station that is Aaron Taylor-Johnson, as all the noise right now about the next 007 is directed his way.

According to ‘a source’ speaking to The Sun, he’s been ‘formally offered’ the role of Britain’s iconic spy, though this is yet to be officially confirmed.

However, it’s by no means the first time Taylor-Johnson has been linked with succeeding Daniel Craig as Bond and there’s not been any name in the discussion mentioned quite as often.

In these periods of downtime between Bonds, it’s fun to speculate about who might get the role, and there have been a number of popular candidates besides Taylor-Johnson, such as Henry Cavill and James Norton.

Then there’s the 007 fans who reckon what the franchise really needs is a good shake-up with ideas such as the first female Bond being mooted.

Despite the plethora of names swirling around, one of the most iconic roles in cinema the frontrunner really does sound like Taylor-Johnson, though everyone’s going to have their own personal favourites.

According to the latest rumours, the job is Aaron’s if he wants it and he could sign on the dotted line within the next few days.

Speculation about becoming Bond has been pretty inescapable for the actor, who has previously given a response to the rumours linking him to the role.

Speaking to Vanity Fair in a recent interview, he said: “It’s flattering. You can have something really positive [written about you], but you can also have something really negative that can circulate.

“You just want to stay in your lane, stay grounded, stay around the people that you love and love you back, and stay in that world.

“Because the moment you start believing the s**t people say about you, you’ve lost your f**king mind. You’ve lost it.”

He also recently told Numero he found it ‘charming and wonderful’ that people could see him as James Bond, and saw the links as a ‘great compliment’.

Absolutely none of this is sounding like he’d say no to the job of being 007 if it was offered to him, so if you want him to be the next Bond it’s sounding pretty good for you.

Then again, some Bond fans keep getting Aaron Taylor-Johnson muddled up in their brains with Anya Taylor-Joy and they are two very different people.

As for when we could expect to see a new James Bond movie following on from 2021’s No Time To Die, since we don’t actually have a 007 yet it’s likely going to be a little bit of a wait.
